Positive: We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Ryad Salama. The riad is truly charming, with a beautiful garden that feels like a peaceful oasis. At night, it becomes even more special, quiet, softly lit, and very atmospheric. Our room was a good size with a cozy balcony, perfect for unwinding. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was excellent, something not always guaranteed in traditional riads. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay, and both breakfast and dinner were simply wonderful. A special mention to the manager, Lolanda, who always made a point to chat with us during breakfast, a thoughtful, personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcome. One thing to note, the birds in the garden are very much part of the experience. They will, without fail, wake you up around 6am every morning… and they are loud! Charming at first, but something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper and prefer to sleep with the windows open for natural air. Overall, a beautiful riad with great character and genuinely warm hospitality, a place we were very happy to call home for a few nights.

Negative: As for areas of improvement, towels are not changed unless requested, which may not suit all guests. The WiFi could also be improved, while we were able to connect at times, the speed was quite slow and not quite in line with expectations for a high-end riad.
